Just a Thought

Given the current economic climate its no wonder that MP’s expenditure is yet again in the spotlight.

Now I work my 40 odd hours a week ,travel some 40 miles a day and am not entitled to any expenses,its whats called a JOB.

Now correct me if I am wrong is not being an MP a JOB .

I really struggle with the allowances for second homes and it would seem most of the contents.

But what as really pissed me off is that an MP ( you know the one) who as claimed almost the maximum allowances as her husband has a personal assistant and guess what while she is busy we are paying for her hubby to get some cheap thrills with porn.

It really is dodgy employing your relative and then paying them out of public money.

Mind you this could get the film industry interested , Confessions of a MP !!!!

I so hate Mondays and today’s is worse then ever.

The clocks have gone forward by an hour total throwing me out of sync its bloody freezing.

Given the impeding threat of redundancy I really do not have much motivation what so ever.

Lets hope the day improves  though thats not likely when I consider the couple of  twats I am going to have to deal with today.

I do not in anyway condone violence but find myself getting slightly disturbed by the thoughts that are crossing my mind.

So some fool or fools have decided to smash windows and vandalise the property of Sir Fred Goodwin the ex boss od RBS .Now we all know he’s a bit of an arsehole (a smart one at that) but damaging him or his property is just going to divert attention away from the real issue.

In our eyes what he as done is criminal but legally it looks like he is on the right side of the law.

What is absolutley certain is, vandalism is illegal and these people need to find a better way of high lighting the issues surrounding Sir Fred Goodwin’s payouts.

Its almost tragic the latest load of drivel from the head of the largest religious faction.

the use of condoms could endanger public health and increase the problem of HIV/Aids

You really do have to worry when one of the most influential people in the world starts advocating that condoms are the cause of the issue rather then a safeguard.

It seems to me that to many leaders of either political or religious groups are quick to make these headline grabbing statements  to get themselves noticed by the media.Little thought is given to the damage these statements cause not only to people who listen to this rubbish but also to the next generation brought into the world by not practicing safe sex.

How anyone can watch some of the scenes of young children ,babes in arms dying in the under developed countries and still think that abstinence is the best solution,bloody fool.

People will have sex better to educate then try and use religious doctrine to prevent unwanted births and the spread of HIV and the like.

The Popes a fool

On my daily ,early morning ,walk to the train station I pass one of the now closed Woolworths stores in Cotteridge.

What I have noticed is that the outside signage is lit up plus all the internal lights.

Now considering that the company no longer exists who is paying the bills and is this eating up any money that should be going to creditors.

Its not very ECO friendly either.

Given that it as been several months since the store closed I dread to think what the cost of lighting up this property as been.
